The website was designed to promote Dorothy's Day Out: The Game.
In Dorothy’s Day Out a player controls Dorothy, an elderly granny who decides to take her rage out on the rest of the world after being tormented by her local neighbours for over twenty years.
As Dorothy, you must battle through various neighborhoods to reach the local post office in order to collect the weekly pension – the quicker the destination is reached, the higher the score that will achieve. However, in the process a number of angry neighbours will be trying to stop Dorothy by using their walking sticks, mobility scooters or by throwing objects into the road.
The player will control Dorothy’s mobility-scooter from a third-person perspective (that positions the camera behind the mobility-scooter). The exact location of the camera is unknown, as the camera will be floating in the air just behind the mobility-scooter. As the player drives the mobility-scooter down the street, objects such as the houses and cars will start to appear and objects passed will be subsequently disappear.

This website allowed anybody with a Windows Live messenger account to log in and chat with their friends.
It consisted of using C# that was used for interacting with the Live Messenger Servers and Ajax to have a live interaction between the web browser and the web server in real time.
When interacting with the Live Messenger Servers (developed by Microsoft), I had to learn about the protocol. This involved understanding all the protocol instructions which is sent between the client and the Live Messenger Server.
The main purpose for developing this project was due to the fact I wanted to expand my knowledge in all areas of web programming. And as a result, I increased my knowledge in C#, Ajax and PHP.

Thethirdeye is an automated technology website, powered by a software agent - programmed in C#.
The software agent works by crawling a list of websites, sent to the software agent periodically, which then parses the page and retrieves all the headlines and then submits it to the server.
The server then uses a small algorithm for populating the news based on a number of factors, which are:
- Date of when the headline was published.
- The website from which the article was posted on.
- How often the publishers website has occurred on the homepage of thethirdeye.
- The amount of associated Twitter discussions, Facebook Discussions.
- How often a headline has appeared on the internet.
