Magneto Website Design and Development in Cornwall

The brief for this project was to design and develop an online lingerie shopping website using an e-commerce package called Magento to process the online orders, with automated schedule tasks to update the stock. I acted as the Magneto developer and designer for this project.

To ensure the brief was met, research was undertaken into the current trends within the lingerie industry. As a result, the most common trend is to use large captivating images in the hope that it would make customers have the urge to purchase the products instantly on the site. Therefore, using the images supplied I made sure I used the large sexy images as much as I could, but still ensuring the website remained functionable. After the designs were finalised the website was implemented. One of the requirements was to develop a custom script so that products would automatically be updated in the system via an XML feed. This included automatically downloading the appropriate images, stock level and product options.

It was such a luxury to have experimentation time with such an awesome project, very thankful to KinkyT.co.ukĀ for allowing me the opportunity!

This project was undertaken as part of my employment with MD Web Solutions (www.md-websolutions.co.uk). All images and project information published with permission from MD Web Solutions.

Testimonials

When I wanted to launch my digital newsletter I needed a new website to do it justice. I approached Dean because he has always looked after my other websites in an efficient and timely manner. After a detailed brief he put together a basic design, which completely captured the feel of the site, and it went from there. With further consultation the site grew and the vision became a reality and I am now proud to be able to launch my newsletter off the back of a stylish and well-designed website. Dean also offers ongoing support which is vital to a business such as mine.
