Marketing and WordPress Website for Maids That Sew in Bude, Cornwall

This project involved producing marketing materials to promote Maids That Sew as well as a revamp on the WordPress Website Design and Development

The client wanted their existing website modernising and made more professional but keeping the same colours and style of the existing branding. It was also a requirement that bunting played a key part in the design, therefore this was used as decoration in the background texture of the website. Various designs were created – abstract, bird’s eye view and overlaying of Bunting to give depth to the website. With the website design established the rest of the process was straightforward. The only requirement was to use the WordPress for the website. This gives the client complete control of adding custom pages to the website as well as allowing the client to customise the design and layout of each page. Online shopping facility was also integrated into the website.

It was such a luxury to have experimentation time to play with different type of texture styles and I’m very thankful to Maids That Sew for allowing me such a luxury!

This project was undertaken as part of my employment with MD Web Solutions (www.md-websolutions.co.uk). All images and project information published with permission from MD Web Solutions.

Testimonials

As a design company, we have always had our own ideas of how something should look and the style we wanted to use, Dean was great at creating the websites and 3D modelling for our products.

Always readily available for updates and small changes that are constantly needed throughout the development of the site. The work from the start has always been top quality, but as projects have moved on quality has actually improved to levels we hadn’t thought available are now present on our sites.

With limited knowledge on the more technical side of website design such as SEO, Dean was always happy to take the lead and offer help with setting up the parts of the website we hadn’t originally thought of as directly important.

We have worked on many sites with Dean and continually try to keep the websites up to date on the both the Design and Technical sides of it and look forward to working together on future projects.
