Branding for Budelicious – Bude’s Food Festival for 2018

Rupert from The Falcon approached me to produce the branding for Budelicious – Bude’s Food Festival for 2018. Not to be confused with the Bude For Food Festival. BFF has been suspended. Until BFF can be reestablished, a smaller Festival will be held called Budelicious, it has the same goals and will include the same key activities.

The design styling evokes ‘modern’ design. The chalky typefaces and the simple food illustrations support this. Black was deliberately chosen as the base colour and red as the secondary colour to disrupt the food industry and announce something completely new. Typically brown and green colours are used in food industry branding designs.

Testimonials

When I wanted to launch my digital newsletter I needed a new website to do it justice. I approached Dean because he has always looked after my other websites in an efficient and timely manner. After a detailed brief he put together a basic design, which completely captured the feel of the site, and it went from there. With further consultation the site grew and the vision became a reality and I am now proud to be able to launch my newsletter off the back of a stylish and well-designed website. Dean also offers ongoing support which is vital to a business such as mine.
