Gecko Head Gear is a cornish company established in 1993, specialising in hand-made helmets designed for Marine Safety Organisations and water born sport markets.
As the site and brand is all about custom safetly helmets the main task was to create a new site that had impact and was focused enough to drive as many sales as possible
The solution was clear in my mind from the offset, I wanted high quality 3D Renders with water splashing in all different directions around the helmets. The look came together really quickly and the end result put a huge smile on the faces of the guys at Gecko Head Gear. I can’t express how much fun this site to put together!
>> Visit WebsiteAs a design company, we have always had our own ideas of how something should look and the style we wanted to use, Dean was great at creating the websites and 3D modelling for our products.
Always readily available for updates and small changes that are constantly needed throughout the development of the site. The work from the start has always been top quality, but as projects have moved on quality has actually improved to levels we hadn’t thought available are now present on our sites.
With limited knowledge on the more technical side of website design such as SEO, Dean was always happy to take the lead and offer help with setting up the parts of the website we hadn’t originally thought of as directly important.
We have worked on many sites with Dean and continually try to keep the websites up to date on the both the Design and Technical sides of it and look forward to working together on future projects.

Blackstar Tattoo Studio & Piercing is a friendly, welcoming but above all professional environment for all your tattooing needs situated in Bude, Cornwall
Paul approached me to design and build a website for his tattoo studio with one objective in mind – to not be a typical tattoo website. Due to his job of being a tattooist, Paul had a good eye for designs. This made the designing the website a real pleasure and came together really quickly. This meant as the design came together fairly quickly I could spend more time on enhancing the users experience by including sliding transitions between each page. This also helped with making the website not look like a typical tattoo website.
The end result worked out really, really well.

Starboard is the first Wood Fired Bistro in Bude, Cornwall offering fresh pizza, meat & fish from a wood fired oven. It was a brilliant branding project I had the pleasure of working on.
The brief was very specific, they knew what they wanted roughly in terms of a logo design and graphics but had no idea how to set about achieving it. This project has involved producing a logo design, menu design & t-shirt design. Overall, I am really excited about the new restaurant and really happy with the final designs :)
Launceston Website Design for Bubbas Baby Outlet; a new shop offering mid to high end baby equipment appealing to people that want to spend a little bit more for high quality baby equipment in Launceston.
Mark was after a website design that was minimalistic whilst also having an element of animation to give it that edge. This was perfect for me as I love producing websites that doesn’t look similar to other websites. I approached this design with the idea of producing an animated baby character in a minimalistic style. After around 20 character sketches the baby character was born and animated. The end result I am really pleased with.

Edgcumbe Hotel in Bude, Cornwall is a seaside accommodation, with the look and feel of a small hotel with the heart and soul of a family run business.
The Edgcumbe Hotel was looking for quirky seaside website design that you don’t see very often in the hope to stand out, as well as allowing staff to easily add news, information & photos.
I provided them with a website that you will not see anywhere else and stands out from their competitors. The website is a fully functional, responsive website design, in addition to one-on-one WordPress training. They are very pleased with the results!

Mark from Wewantitnow wanted a website that offered some of the best quality lingerie, hosiery, swimwear, fun wear and accessories available, at very affordable prices in and around Manchester, UK.
The project involved designing and developing an Magento powered E-Ecommerce website that would automatically update its lingerie products and stock level using an XML feed from an Lingerie Wholesaler. This meant when the wholesaler updated their stock the website would automatically update as a result.

Bude Tamar Boxing Club is a new amateur boxing club for anyone to join, any age or ability.
Heidi asked me to design a leaflet promoting the different boxing sessions. The idea behind the design came about because designs for boxing events usually consists of a person boxing. Therefore, I came up with the idea of the logo smashing through a brick wall as something different that would stand out. The wall and logo were designed using a 3D package and the explosion was simulated.
My involvement for Devilishly Disabled in Cornwall has been in the branding and character design, so it was nice to do some designs that would be eventually turned into canvas prints.
I wanted to inject a simple but vibrant background into the design to compliment the character graphics but not one that would detract or clash with the devil character itself.
Here is a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year poster I sketched and then turned into an illustration poster for DS Painting and Decorating in Bude, Cornwall
The guys over at DS Painting and Decorating asked me to create a Christmas poster to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to their clients. The only requirement was that there needs to be references to decorating. And for some bizarre reason, I’d wanted to create a cartoon Santa for quite some time, so this was quite a fun little project!
Here is a poster I sketched and then turned into an illustration poster for Devilishly Disabled in Bude, Cornwall.
This design in particular was a personal favourite, as creating a unique version of the devilishly disabled character for Halloween gets extra excited! The devil character, blood dripping, pumpkins and every other prop you would typically expect to see in a Halloween poster. SOOOOO much fun!!
