I was approached by Bude Brewery to look at Summerleaze’s and Bude Sea Pool’s beer range as part of their overall branding. Although each product range had a slightly different audience and therefore a different feel they still needed to fit into Bude Brewery’s identity.
After speaking with Bude Brewery to start the ball rolling with design ideas, it was clear that after designing the Porthbud range, a unique creature for both Summerleaze and Bude Sea Pool needed to be the featured point of the designs. We both decided on using a Shark for Summerleaze and a turtle for the Sea Pool. Whilst the ideas were great, I also had to make sure the Bude Brewery’s identity was still included across both ranges. This was achieved by including Barrel Rock within in the background and/or foreground for both ranges.
Bude Brewery were delighted with the designs and couldn’t wait to start showing it off to their current and prospective clients.

Cornwall’s multi award-winning independent festival returns for the tenth time and with it the creation of a brand spanking new festival website – www.leopallooza.com. The requirements were that the site had to be manageable, using a WordPress CMS. The Website had to be responsive on all devices irrespective of how interactive the site becomes or the number of textures it uses.
During the various meetings, it was decided that a wild west theme was to be used for the website design. This meant mixing various textures together to achieve a wild west feel, with crumbled pieces around the corners to give it that rough look. The logo also needed changing to reflect the new site design, with emphasis placed on rough and jagged edges with bits cut off.
This website in particular was a personal favourite, as creating a very unique look and feel to the website in a wild west theme gets me extra excited! SOOOO much fun!!

Mark from the Bude Tourist Information Centre in Cornwall, approached me to create a sign design, promoting the newly refurbished huts running alongside Summerleaze and Crooklets Beaches.
The requirements for the design were that it had to include various texts’ informing people of how they can rent and book the beach huts. The sign also needed a graphic to grab people’s attention. The finished design included a sketch of the beach huts along Summerleaze Beach, finished in a pastel effect. The colours used in the sign reflect those of the actual huts.

Keith from KM Machinery approached me to build a new website to run alongside his page on Autotrader, allowing him to advertise all the machinery products from tractors to balers without having to pay the commission to AutoTrader.
Like all the websites I have design and built, everything is done from scratch allowing each design to be totally unique – no templates used. After a bit of brain storming, and due to the nature of tractors and machinery; everything can quickly become oily and dirty. I decided to utilise and follow this trend. The end result is a custom muddy background image with tractor marks. Followed by a rough white sheet over the muddy image allowing the website elements to be positioned.
KM Machinery is completely responsive. This means it looks fantastic on all devices whilst still giving the website design an edge over competitors that just use typical website templates.

Bude Tyres approached me to help bring life back into their website as well as adding fresh new content and pictures.
The result is a great new responsive site, combined with an animated car travelling along the top of the website to give the website life provide more of an edge over their competitors. The sites’ content can be easily modified by my client, with an adverts section ready to be updated on a regular basis.

Having just taken on Complete Kitchens in Holsworthy, Helen approached me to tweak their current branding as well redesigning their website to be more clean and professional. I took their brief and made all of the changes they needed to make this site exactly how they wanted it.
The site is unrecognisable from the original website, and the result is a much better user experience thus improving the bounce rate overall which will convert to sales. The user experience has also been designed taking in consideration, elderly people when browsing the website, which is the majority of their customer base.

>> Visit WebsiteDean has recently completed our Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms website and we are absolutely delighted with the result. We asked for a website that would be uncluttered, clean and simple in design and Dean has interpreted this perfectly. Dean's gentle guidance throughout the process has been fantastic, he is very easy to communicate with at very flexible times of the day with quick response to questions, queries and changes. I would be more than happy to recommend Dean to anyone seeking a web-site design service.

After working on the logo for the Unit, Heidi approached me to design another new logo for the Bude Combat Academy. The requirements were very simple in that it had to use the same angle at which the hand was positioned in the picture provided. I created a graphic based on the picture along with the text at slightly different angles to make it look like the hand was punching through the text to give the logo more impact.
I absolutely loved working on this logo design, too much fun!
Sarah from Cabin Safety Update was looking for a modern and clean website design to display her newsletters, all of which are available to view online through a base subscription system. The site easily manageable through the simple WordPress system and training process. The system is backed up with a secure online payment system.
I went for a pure white background but with a quirky stroke line going down the page (to represent a plane travelling through the skies).
As with everything I do, it’s simple, clear and looks great on mobile, tablet and desktop devices.
>> Visit WebsiteWhen I wanted to launch my digital newsletter I needed a new website to do it justice. I approached Dean because he has always looked after my other websites in an efficient and timely manner. After a detailed brief he put together a basic design, which completely captured the feel of the site, and it went from there. With further consultation the site grew and the vision became a reality and I am now proud to be able to launch my newsletter off the back of a stylish and well-designed website. Dean also offers ongoing support which is vital to a business such as mine.

Max Marshall was looking for a new website to replace his existing Wix site which wasn’t performing as anticipated. I designed and built a mobile-friendly, multi-page website, enhancing the user experience with simple yet quirky navigation.
I developed the look and feel of the site to be big and bold, playing with elements that I have always loved to play with such a quirky abstract shapes. Despite having quirky geometric shapes, the website is still very manageable using WordPress, allowing Max to upload new images and edit content on the site.
As with all of my projects, I also undertake search engine optimisation as well as creating a bespoke backend using WordPress, enabling the client to edit their site and add products in real time.
